JLPT N5 questions

How long does it take to pass JLPT N5?

Most self-studying learners who study a little every day are ready for N5 in three to six months. The biggest variable is kana: once hiragana and katakana are automatic, vocabulary and grammar go much faster.

Can I prepare for JLPT N5 for free on LenGaki?

Is there an official JLPT N5 vocabulary or kanji list?

No. The Japan Foundation stopped publishing official lists in 2010. LenGaki's N5 lists follow the content that past papers and the major textbooks consistently test at this level.
